07/03/2014

Tony Deep Wouhra MBE, Chairman of East End Foods, visited Sir James Bevan, the British High Commissioner to India, at London in March 2014.
They first met last year, where Tony Deep and Paul Deep, Director of East End Foods, travelled to India with the Prime Minister, Rt Hon David Cameron and the British trade delegation.
They now regularly meet to discuss and maintain the partnership that East End foods developed back in India. The result of that partnership is extremely fruitful.

They first met last year, where Tony Deep and Paul Deep, Director of East End Foods, travelled to India with the Prime Minister, Rt Hon David Cameron and the British trade delegation.

The main purpose of the delegation was to create better ties between India & the UK. East End Foods extended it cooperation by starting a joint venture with Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd, based in Maharashtra, India. There are now plans under way to erect an urban farm at the former HP Sauce factory in Birmingham, UK.

'The Urban farm will hopefully become a positive gateway to Birmingham' - Tony Deep Wouhra MBE
